Heart Health

Ensuring a healthy heart starts at every age by eating healthy, staying active and controlling blood pressure.


Eat a diet low in fats and salt and control your portions. Aim to eat a rainbow of colorful fruits and vegetables. Choose one serving of meat - not the supersize meals served at restaurants.


Move your body every day - walk, bicycle, play with your kids. Physical activity and healthy food choices will help keep your blood pressure in a healthy range and protect your heart.

WIC Extended Hours 2nd and 4th Tuesday monthly: 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
